Personal Training is the core of what we do, and this value is not only reserved for private training clients but brought into class format programming as well.
Keeping membership and class sizes small, EMBR has the unique ability to assist each member in pursuing their specific goal in a group setting. Members can expect to be coached during their class as an individual – we are doing away with generalized coaching. Each member can expect to have the attention they need to learn proper form for their body specifically and motivation to hit their specific goal.

I’ve spent over 15 years in the fitness industry—long enough to know that most people don’t actually want their entire life turned upside down just to feel strong. So at EMBR, you won’t find scales, fad diets, or pressure to eat kale unless you genuinely enjoy suffering.
Certified in program design, holistic lifestyle coaching, functional movement patterns, and more TRX courses than any normal person should willingly collect, I’ve trained everywhere—from tiny boutique studios to giant gyms where finding the dumbbells feels like an Olympic sport.
These days, I primarily coach women over 40, because they’re fun, honest, and appreciate a good laugh while we’re working up a sweat. My clients get stronger, move better, and feel more confident—but they also crack up regularly, because fitness doesn’t have to be so serious.
I coach BoxFit, small-group training, and my signature FIT (Flex Interval Training) program, which is basically strength and cardio with a personality. No extreme lifestyle overhauls—just sustainable movement, solid coaching, and the occasional “I swear this looked easier when I demo’d it” moment.
If you like the idea of getting fit without losing your sense of humour, we’ll probably get along great.

My goal is simple: to create a space where you can move, feel good in your body, build confidence, and reconnect with YOU. My classes are all about self-expression, joy and showing up exactly how you are. No perfection, no pressure.
Whether you drop in or join a multi-week series, you'll be stepping into an inclusive, supportive community where fun always comes first.
Why dance with me? I have over 8 years of dance training, as the founder of Vibes Dance. As a psychology grad, a mom of 2 and a passionate advocate for mental health, I ensure there's truly a place for everyone on the dance floor.

Lauren
Lauren is a dance and fitness instructor with over 8 years experience, specializing in teaching adults and creating welcoming spaces for movers of all ages. Her clients range from young children to vibrant 103 yer olds!
She blends techniques from Personal Training, group fitness, Pilates and dance to craft classes that are accessible, upbeat and full of energy.
Her teaching style is fun-forward, using humour and a lighthearted approach to guide students through even the spiciest combinations. Lauren believes deeply that movement is medicine and dance is empowerment.
